Bike and Winery Tour

Enjoy views from the crater and a van tour through the park followed by by a 22 mile bike ride from 6500ft. down to the old country town of Makawao. From Makawao take a van tour to Ulupalakua Ranch where you will enjoy a delicious “no-host” lunch at the Ulupalakua Ranch Store, before entering the Gorgeous Tedechi Winery for a tour and a tasting.

A van driver and “cruise leader” accompany all tours. The cruise leader escorts the riders from the pole position, while the “chase van” driver attentively follows behind. Both guides are in constant radio contact with each other and the “base camp” in Kahului.

If you’re over the age of 11 and at least 4'10" —then yes It’s a unique opportunity to connect with majestic Haleakala in ways that just cannot be experienced from the confines of a car. You will be required to sign a medical/physical clearance form and/or demonstrate a minimum level of bicycle riding competency prior to participating in this activity..

Tour starts at 7:00am and returns between 1:00 to 2:00pm
