CJM Country Stables

CJM Country Stables invites you to join us on Kauai's magnificent south shore and mount-up for a memorable horseback ride. You'll be part of a small group escorted by our experienced and knowledgeable local paniolo (cowboy) guides. Owned and operated since 1986 by a long time kama'aina (native-born) family. Our Hawaiian ranch offers well trained quarter horses with top quality saddles and tack. We present monthly public rodeos and are home of Kauai's high school and keiki (youngster) rodeos.

SCENIC VALLEY BEACH RIDE
Our most popular and shortest ride, offered twice daily, 9:30am & 2:00pm. It takes you through the ancient Mahaulepu area popular now to beach goers, wind-surfers, and local fisherman. Experience a variety of scenery and terrain; from pasture ranch land and farm crops to coastal and mountain vistas. Cross over a sand bar and stream, travel past beaches and bays, see native foliage and birds, pass under the tall shady ironwood trees and appreciate the afternoon cool tradewind breezes.
Approximately 2 hours on horseback(Mon-Sat)

All participants are required to sign liability waivers before participating in this activity.

For your safety, you must wear enclosed shoes. For the safety of our guests there is a weight limit of 250 pounds or height/weight ratio proportinate. Due to high risk involved, they do not allow pregnant, physically disabled or children under (7) seven years old to ride. Safety helmets are available upon request.
