Manta Ray Night Dive

Come join us for the most "electric" scuba dive and snorkel in Kona Hawaii -- The World Famous Manta Ray night dive.

After a short 20 minute boat ride to the location, relax while you watch the sunset and then get briefed on the encounter that follows shortly thereafter. A 25 foot depth allows both snorkelers and scuba divers to see all the "action" as these gentle giants feed on a buffet of plankton attracted by our "Mo Betta" dive lights -- included for each passenger.

There are more than 70 Manta Rays in Kona and all have names. They are black on the top and all white with black spots and black patches on their stomachs. These markings enable us to identify each known Manta Ray we see. At 16 feet from wing tip to wing tip, it's comforting knowing that they are completely harmless. Manta Rays have nothing that bites, nothing that stings making this the safest large animal encounter in the world!
